Abdul Lateef Kayode ADEYEMO (PhD)

Abdul Lateef Kayode ADEYEMO (PhD) is a Professor of Islamic Thought, History and Civilization. He is currently the Head, Department of Religions, Faculty of Arts, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He has published widely both in Local and international academic referred journals, books and commissioned books of proceedings. His areas of research interest include but are not limited to the following: Islamic Thought, Islamic History and Civilization, Islam and Muslim Revivalism in the Contemporary Society, Islam and Other Religions in West Africa, Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance, History and Principles of Islamic Political Thought and Islam in the World Today. He has about fifty (50) publications to his credit. He had also attended about forty-five (45) conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia majorly outside Nigeria. While his B.A and M.A. degrees were awarded by the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and his PhD in Islamic and Other Civilizations was awarded by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Akeem is a professional Islamic finance practitioner. He has first and second degrees in Islamic Studies Education from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a Master of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance from the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, International Islamic University Malaysia. Akeem had worked with Ahmed Zakari and Co. (Chartered Accountants) as a Senior Associate Consultant. before joining Noor Takaful Insurance Limited where he currently serves as the Internal Auditor/Chief Compliance Officer. He is a member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He is a member and secretary of the Board of Z&S Waqf Foundation
Dr Muritala Yahya Toyin, BA, MA, PHD.

He is a professional Islamic scholar and a senior lecturer with Kwara State University, Department of Arabic. He has his first and second degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and his PhD from the International University of Malaysia (IIUM). His specialties are in Arabic Syntax and Morphology, Arabic Philology, Translation Studies, Arabic Lexicography, and Sociolinguistics. He is the chairman, quality assurance of Arabic unit at Kawar State University as well as a member of the Board of Z&S Waqf Foundation and the chairman sharia committee of the Foundation.

PRINCE SULAYMAN A. OLAGUNJU is currently the Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Computer Science and Master’s Degree in Information Management both from the University of Lagos, Akoka as well as another Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Federal University of Technology (FUTA) Akure, Ondo State. Prince Olagunju is a member of several professional bodies such as the Nigeria Computer Society; Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Project Management Professional (PMP) among others.
He has held managerial positions with several Information Technology Organizations such as the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems, Victoria Island, Vivid Solutions Associates, Gbagada, Future Technology System, Ikorodu, Lagos, and Joint Komputer Kompany, Ilupeju, Lagos State among others.
Alhaji Ma’aruf Ahmed, Bsc, MIBF

Ma’aruf Ahmed is a professional Islamic finance practitioner. He has his first degree in accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and a holds a Masters of Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, Bayero University Kano. Ma’aruf worked with Toyin Ojo & Co (Chartered Accountants) as a Senior Audit trainee. before joining Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation until his recent appointment as the Executive Director/CEO of Z&S Waqf Foundation.
