Z&S Waqf Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established to engage well-meaning corporate organizations, Muslims, and Philanthropists in constructive partnership to provide sustainable welfare and humanitarian services to indigent Muslims and humanity in general.

To eradicate poverty by providing social services to ensure the well-being of the less privileged, leveraging cutting-edge technology and a motivated workforce.
OUR GOAL
With a robust and vibrant Management Board in place, strengthened by an indefatigable Board of Directors, Z&S Waqf Foundation (ZSWF) is poised to revive the forgotten concept of Waqf (Endowment) which is one of the major pillars of Islamic social finance instruments. It is established in accordance with Islamic Sharia and to deliver social services through an effective investment of the Awqaf properties and funds.
Championing our goal of quality services to mankind, some of these services include but are not limited to:
- Institutionalization of Awqaf Management,
- Provision of social welfare,
- Development and maintenance of Awqaf properties,
- Creation of investment and maximization of returns,
- The establishment of social institutions and creation of employment opportunities, education endowment, Widows & Orphans Support, Medical Support, and Community Development projects (Borehole and so on) among others.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To revive and rejuvenate the system of Waqf as an Islamic social finance instrument for financial inclusion within and outside the country
- To use effective and efficient techniques for the survey, assessment, collection, management, and registration of Awqaf resources in the country.
- To engage in Awqaf investments and diversification of Awqaf funds in full shariah-compliant institutions for the sustainability of the resources of the Foundation and interventions for the welfare of the less privileged.
- To improve the efficiency of Awqaf asset management and enhance social engagement in growing Awqaf resources in full compliance with Islamic corporate governance.
- To establish a credible and transparent strategy of disbursement of proceeds of awqaf funds for the care and empowerment of the poor, needy, and less privileged.
- To develop Awqaf by promoting philanthropic activities through the provision of social services with a sense of charity for the peace and harmony of the larger society.
- To promote, facilitate and develop Awqaf practices through research, development, and cooperation with credible financial and academic institutions within and outside the country.
- To create and update the database, researched articles, and conference materials of Awqaf resources and activities of the Foundation.
- To satisfy and enhance Awqaf donors’ happiness and provide a happy donor experience.
- To collaborate with other local and/or international organizations with similar objectives on Waqf management.
